Kuwait Green Wall Society took part in a significant panel discussion at the 12th session of the World Urban Forum, organized by the Regional Office of the Food and Agriculture Organization for the Near East and North Africa (FAO). The event, titled "Reconnecting Cities with Nature and Mitigating the Impact of Climate Change on Urban Communities in the Near East and North Africa," took place in Cairo on November 8, 2024. Dr. Issa Ramadan represented the Society, highlighting its projects and initiatives, particularly the "Green Blocks" initiative aimed at combating desertification. This participation underscores the association's commitment to addressing climate change and promoting sustainable urban environments.
